Cain

Cain is the first founder. The progenitor of us all. I accept his existance. From the writings, and from the fact that we have only passed through 13 generations and there are those around that surely met him, even if they are not talking.

Cain sleeps, a deeper more troubled sleep than that of the founders of the clans. His power flows in all of us through the blood. It can reach across the chasm of age and generation to spark new life in a freshly embraced kndred. It is a tie that binds each and every one of us together in brotherhood.

Cain's sleep is troubled because his grandchilder murdered his childer, not for freedom, not for equality but merely for jealousy. These grandchilder have gone on to pillage and destroy, to embrace great numbers of the unworthy and to threaten even Cain himself.

Cain stood in defiance of Gods curse, refusing to bow to his power. God had asked for a greater sacrifice and Cain had destroyed Abel on the altar. That which he loved the most, his brother. Later he defied angels and dark Lillith who taught him the powers of what we now call disciplines. Cain stood for freedom and defiance and yet still petty powerplays destroyed the first and second cities as well as Carthage, his legacy.

Judgement will come upon those who have defied his word, the founders are as nothing compared to the power of Cain and they will crumble before him as he frees us all.
